台湾基隆港新服务大厦

Neil M. Denari Architects事务所在基隆港新服务大厦国际设计竞赛中击败了一同进入决赛的其他三家机构，包括Asymptote Architecture和大元聯合建築師事務所组成的联合机构，Mecanoo Architecten，Platform for Architecture+Research和Series et Series，还有QUEBEC INC/ Alain Allard ，获得了竞赛的一等奖，其设计方案也将最终转变为基隆港地标性的服务大厦实物。事务所大楼的设计主题是“国家大门”。新服务大厦将作为客流和货物集散枢纽，大厦及周围区域设计时尚，具有艺术性，包括办公楼、停车场、艺术广场等区域，整个项目还对一直处于闲置状态的W4到W6码头后方空间进行了合理开发利用，发挥了这几个区域装卸货物的作用。这项投资巨大的工程将促进当地经济发展。

The entry by LA-based Neil M. Denari Architects has won the First Prize in the international competition for the New Harbor Service Building in Keelung, Taiwan.The competition called for a landmark building that "will create a new ‘Gateway to the Nation‘ motif." The brief asks for designs for a modern passenger and cargo terminal, transfer station, maritime gateway art plaza, a joint office building and parking structure, and development of unused land behind wharves W4 - W6 for handling goods from cross-strait passenger and cargo ships.The massive multi-billion dollar renewal project is expected to accelerate development in the areas surrounding the harbor and promote local prosperity.
