Candidates should have a proven track record of having overseen at least 2-3 large-scale projects, preferably in Asia, of high quality design at an international architectural design firm. Candidates should have experience that demonstrates the ability to lead complex projects of the highest quality and ambition, coordinate and collaborate with an extensive team of local and international consultants (including Executive/Local Architect/LDI, SMEP engineers, facade, sustainability, traffic, etc.), as well as the ability to manage client relationships. You will be responsible for managing all design and construction phases of the project, working directly with the Partner in Charge, and will coordinate our internal design team, the consultant team, and maintain regular communication and hold workshop presentations with the client. The ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with all team members is essential. Minimum requirements: - 8 years minimum experience in international design offices - Strong and clear communication skills and a systematic approach to overall project management and the design process - Masters Degree (or equivalent) in Architecture - Highly developed skills in team leadership and organization, client communication, contract negotiation, project scheduling, staffing/manpower allocations, high-rise building design, technical detailing, consultant coordination, and construction documents and administration - Knowledge and familiarity of general planning and code regulations - Enthusiasm and commitment to a high level of design in a high energy work environment - Bilingual (English/Mandarin) is a plus, English is a must - Strong AutoCAD skills Salary and benefits are commensurate with ability and experience. Architect/Junior Architect 建筑师/初级建筑师 We are looking for strong designers for several projects in early design phases. You will work as a member of a project team and are expected to be able to analyze information, think critically, and generate ideas and design solutions collaboratively and independently. Enthusiasm and a commitment to a high level of design are essential. Architectural Internships / 建筑实习生 Buro Ole Scheeren has openings for full-time architectural interns for our office in Beijing. We are looking for students or recent graduates who are enthusiastic and seeking international experience in a thought-provoking environment. Internships are offered for a period of minimum 2 months, however a duration of 6-12 months is preferred. Minimum requirements: - Enrollment in a degree program for architecture or urban planning - Strong graphic and design talent - Excellent model-making and AutoCAD skills； preferably also 3D Max, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign skills - Fluency in spoken English, Mandarin a plus Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend. Minimum requirements: - Strong writing and editing skills, preferably with English as the first language - Clear communication, organizational skills, and rigorous systematic approach to investigative analysis - Good visual sensibility, skilled in Adobe Creative Suite - Pro-active, self-disciplined ability to conduct research on a variety of subjects/topics and synthesize the research into coherent and concise formulations - Curiosity and experience with issues of contemporary urbanism and society is essential.
