Senior Designer with a focus on interior design As the successful applicant, you are already experienced in agency work focused on trade shows, shops and retail, and have successfully managed projects for renowned clients. You are familiar with the specific demands of global branding and adapting brands to local markets and high-volume retail space, and are effective at implementing these insights in your project work. You are a highly creative individual with the ability to develop design ideas, evaluate visual analyses, derive visual results and prepare presentations. Professional requirements: A degree in architecture, interior design, product design or industrial design At least four years’ professional experience An understanding for how brands work and demonstrated skills in transforming them into three-dimensional experiences Concept development and drafting for renowned brands and clients with a focus on retail, shops, trade shows, hotels and/or brand experiences Preparation and delivery of presentations Knowledge of materials and construction A good feel for trends in architecture and interior design Knowledge of all production and implementation phases from the initial drawings to final completion Good skills in freehand sketching in the draft phases Proficiency in current graphics programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and common drawing and 3D software (Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Maya, Sketchup) Chinese as native language Excellent written and spoken English Personal requirements: A passion for brands and implementing them in three-dimensional space Understanding for customer needs Good communication skills Leadership experience Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure, good time management skills 2. Senior Designer with a focus on corporate design As the successful applicant, you will have several years of experience working at branding or corporate identity agencies, and you will have implemented successful projects for well-known clients. Working in a committed and independent fashion, you will be responsible for design and communication in complex sub-projects in the branding process. You will be one of the key players on our client team. You will be a highly creative individual with the ability to develop design ideas, evaluate visual analyses, derive visual results in a transparent fashion and prepare presentations. You will use your talents (typography, colors, visual language, illustrations, etc.) to achieve top creative results. Displaying a high level of personal responsibility, you will make decisions in the creative pre-selection phase of the design process and supervise entrylevel staff. You will report directly to the design or the creative director as an integral part of our client team. We have an immediate opening and would like to work together on a longterm basis. Professional requirements: · A degree in visual communication or a similar discipline · At least three years of professional experience at a branding or corporate design/identity agency · Proven branding and brand management skills · Jointly responsible for developing designs in clearly defined, parallel sub-projects (concept development, quality assurance, punctual execution of services) · Management of sub-projects in the design process (briefing, internal communication, support), including work outside your team； interface with other specialized departments at MetaDesign (e.g. production, brand documentation, interactive branding, 3D branding) · Preparation and delivery of presentations (on the phone, digitally, in person) · Development of concepts and content for design documentation · Supervision of designers and interns · Cross-media production skills · Outstanding written and spoken English · Proficiency at current graphics programs (InDesign, FreeHand, Photoshop, PowerPoint) Personal requirements: · A motivating team player · A creative sparring partner for the design director · A good feel for visual trends · Empathy for client needs · Excellent communication skills · Some management experience · Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure, good time management skills 3. Senior Account Manager As a senior account manager you will be responsible for providing support for your clients and for successfully implementing sub-projects. You will coordinate all processes for your projects and plan budgets reliably and economically. You will also facilitate client meetings, manage resources effectively and economically with the help of project management tools, and be responsible for thoroughly briefing your design and brand consulting colleagues. Mentoring and helping to develop the skills of younger colleagues and interns will also be part of your everyday work. You have a deep understanding for the business strategy and issues in your clients’business sectors and are responsible for writing offers and monitoring project budgets. You have experience in managing clients and working with efficient processes, and are familiar with the fields of marketing communication, corporate identity and corporate design.
