| Company Profile KOW (http://www.kow.nl) is one of the biggest architecture offices in the Netherlands, with offices in The Hague, Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Shanghai. We offer a full range of services, with all the expertise in house that is needed to manage and coordinate the entire design and construction process from planning until delivery. We are active in all architectural design disciplines by providing everything from research to visualizations, from specifications to cost accounting. Ambition is our watchword. We use our combined energy to foster sustainability, so that we can truly have the Best of Both Worlds. KOW DDC KOW Dutch Design Consultants is our Shanghai branch office. Located in the creative design centre in the Jing An district of Shanghai, KOW is the first independent Dutch architectural office in China. Our projects in China are run from our Shanghai office. The Shanghai staff is also instrumental in creating drafting and presentation drawings for our projects in Europe, cooperating intensively with our staff in Holland. We have been active in China for several years and are now looking to expand our team in Shanghai. Employee Profile All applicants must be team players with a strong sense of responsibility and a professional attitude. Good social and (English) communicating abilities are a must. We offer a professional training of Dutch and European building techniques and methods in the Netherlands for every qualified employee. It will be an inspiring and diverse job in a growing international company with high ambition in China. We currently have several job openings: ·Architects (m/f) Two years and plus. Architects will work together with our staff in Holland on our Chinese design projects as well as construction phase drawings for our projects in Europe. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Netherlands for technical training in European-standard drafting work for period of two months. Architects will divide their time between working on Chinese projects in the concept design and design development phase and construction drawing drafting work for projects in Europe. Minimal requirements: Bachelor Degree of Architecture Languages: fluent Chinese and English Software: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop. Affinity with other computer programs is preferred, particularly Revit. ·Draftspersons (m/f) Some experience is preferred. Draftspersons will work full-time on construction phase projects in Europe. They will receive the same technical training in the Netherlands as our architects. In addition, they may occasionally be sent to work with project teams in our headquarter office for several months. Applicants must be interested to learn European-standard detailing and construction methods, as well as European-standard construction drawing methods. Minimal requirements: Languages: fluent Chinese and English Software: AutoCAD, SketchUp. We give special preference to applicants with Revit experience.
