| Goettsch Partners (GP), a Chicago-based design firm, is now interviewing for the following positions in Shanghai office. GP (www.gpchicago.com) is the direct descendant of the architectural practice started by Mies van der Rohe in 1938. GP has specialized in various fields, such as commercial office, urban hotel, headquarter, mixed-use development, institutional and urban regeneration projects. GP has been active in China for over a decade and currently has more than 20 projects in 15 cities in China. Some of the key projects in China include Guangzhou Park Hyatt Mixed-use Tower, Nanjing International Center (Westin hotel), Shanghai Lujiazui Diamond Tower, Tianjin Marriott mixed-use complex, Dalian China Resource Grand Hyatt Tower, Huizhou Hopson International Tower, Chengdu Chicony Plaza, and Suzhou Jinhope Center (Hyatt Regency Hotel). Recently GP is awarded a 380,000m², 430 meter tall mixed-use tower in Tianjin Binhai District. We welcome talented architects to join our Shanghai office. Requirements include strong skills in collaboration, communication and presentation; Excellent skills in conceptual creation and presentation; Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and related 3D computer skills; Strong verbal and written language skills; Knowledge of local codes and construction practices is preferred. Education: professional degree in architecture. Experience: 4-9 years, international experience preferred.
