The P.A. will exhibit strong design skills and architectural related knowledge and contemporary architectural design sensibility. Experience working on multiple-project types that complement our Shanghai office is required. The P.A. must have strong presentation skills and have the ability to share design ideas with co-workers and clients both in Shanghai office and in US office in both English and Chinese. The P.A. must have the ability to be flexible in a fast pace/continuously changing environment and be able to lead/coordinate several projects simultaneously. The P.A. must have the ability to lead the design team to further develop the design concepts offered by Sr. Designers, and provide high quality completed design package by contributing efficient design detail information. A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required, National 1st Class Registration Architect License is preferred. A license to practice Architecture is also required. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of management experience on multiple- project types (especially on retail, mixed-use and planning of project ). Strong team-oriented spirit, business morality of earnest and loyalty are essentially required. Possess abilities of self motivation and mutual encouragement with co-workers. Be familiar with Chinese construction documentation code. Apply knowledge of other business disciplines and industry standards. Must has strong communication skills both in English and Chinese, especially has design presentation skill. A Bachelor of Architecture degree is required, Master of Architecture and National 1st Class Registration Architect License are preferred. Job requirements: ·Takes responsibility for prompt and effective action to meet the needs of clients, consultants and contractors. ·Cooperate with Project Manager to produce reasonable project executive plan includes schedule、human resource、cost and etc. Supervises design development, code research, construction documents and construction administration. Gives direction and assistance to fellow project members. ·During different phases of project development, effectively organize、coordinate and distribute design resources both from interior and exterior area for project completion. ·Organizes, develops and coordinates projects from client contact through administration phases. ·May assist to produces architectural details, plans, elevations, and final construction drawings. Job requirements: ·A designer is specific task oriented, be an up and coming design talent, produce neat, clean and quality work by effectively using updated architectural knowledge. ·Familiarity with Chinese and local construction code, produce design documents of different phase by application of relevant knowledge ·Good design expression with hand, able to build design model, good thinkers, computer literate, i.e. CAD, 3D computer rendering, Photoshop, MS Office, etc. ·Able to organize or coordinate to be involved in several different projects orderly at same time. ·They must be able to work with minimal direction, self starters and communicate very well. Able to meet an emergency. ·The designers report to Design Principal for design quality, business development and studio operations. ·Able to make a reasonable judgment and feedback on any occasional circumstance during project proceeding. The Senior Designer will exhibit strong conceptual design skills and also be committed to an elegant and contemporary architectural design sensibility. Prior experience working on commercial building - project types that complement our Shanghai office is required. The Senior Designer must have strong presentation/communication skills and have the ability to explain multiple design options in both English and in Chinese. The Senior Designer must have the ability to be flexible in a fast pace/continuously changing environment and be able to lead/coordinate several project simultaneously. A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required although a Master’s degree in Architecture is preferred. A license to practice Architecture is also required. The Senior Designer must be proficient in CAD, 3D, Photoshop and all MS office products. |
