| Over the last 10 years, Chronos International's client has transformed its business from a UK Construction Company to an International Project Management Group. It designs, delivers and supports its customers’ investments in capital assets from research laboratories and process plant to oil and gas facilities, transport systems or schools and hospitals. The company works with its customers from the very beginning of their investments, and can help develop the initial concept, plan funding and add value from the initial concepts through to detailed design. When it comes to delivering the asset, the company can project manage the construction, taking care of procurement and relationships with contractors as well as actual commissioning. Job Title: Architect Business Division: Shanghai Responsible to (Line): Engineering Manager Responsible to (Function): D&PS Head of Arch Purpose / Role: To provide Architectural design support to expat design leader during the Concept phase of a project and then manage a CDI during the detailed design stage. Prime responsibilities and duties： · Preparation of designs, documentation, drawings and specifications to the requirements of the Client and HOD/DTL. · To effectively manage a CDI during the detailed design stage and maintain the integrity of the Concept · To strive to achieve appropriate awards and client repeat business/quality of service on all commissions. · To supervise and manage modest sized teams of architects/technicians and other disciplines as necessary. · To develop design skills and CAD skills to incorporate best practice and provide innovative solutions to client/project. · To identify project resource needs and help in the recruitment process. · Ensure that all drawings and documents are complete within the allocated hours and in accordance with the programme. · Advise the HOD/Principal Architect/DTL of changes to work content. · Ensure technical integrity of all discipline design deliverables on the project, through compliance with all project & company procedures. · Ensure that all discipline deliverables are checked and approved in accordance with project and Company procedures. · Ensure that discipline deliverables conform to the Amec Way and are best-practice. · Maintain good relations with other disciplines and with the client at all times. · Maintain the project discipline filing system as defined in Company procedures. · Ensure all discipline design interfaces to other disciplines are clearly defined and correctly executed. · To read, understand and implement the Company Safety Policy and the arrangements described in the Company Safety Management System documents. Allied occasional duties： · To act as DTL on medium and small scale projects. I.e. laboratories, clean rooms, general manufacturing facilities, offices > Knowledge of laboratory design issues > Experience of working on projects for western investors Job Title: Electrical Building Services Engineer Business Division: Shanghai Job Grade: Electrical Design Engineer Responsible to (Line): Engineering Manager Shanghai Responsible to (Function): I&PS Head of Elecrtical Responsible for (Line): Design of electrical services Function/CoP: Electrical Purpose / Role：To provide electrical design input to the concept stage and manage a CDI during the detailed design stage. Prime responsibilities and duties： TASKS 1) Meetings > Client Meetings Attend and contribute to regular client meetings > Internal Meetings Attend and contribute to weekly design co-ordination meetings with Amec design team and local design institute > General Meetings Attend meetings with relevant regulatory public utilities authorities, e. g. electricity suppliers, telecoms Attend Safety / constructability/ VE. Prime responsibilities and duties： · Provide conceptual design advice to the design team on spatial requirements of mechanical/HVAC services and the access and maintenance space for those services · Manage a CDI to ensure that the detailed design follows the intent of the concept. · Represent AMEC at client and other project meetings · Produce reports on design progress · Manage the resolution of design issues that arise during the detailed phase Key internal interfaces： > AMEC design team > Head of Mechanical Services > Design Manager > Engineering Manager Key external interfaces： Client Clients Project Managers Design Institute Utility Authorities Core competencies： Essential Skills > Expensive experience in the design of Mechanical building services for industrial and pharmaceutical projects.
