香港中文大学将在深圳建立新校区，目前校区规划正在招标。招标文件如下：
香港中文大学（深圳）定位为培养高层次创新型人才的研究型大学，远期招生规模达到11000人。根据深圳市建设现代化国际化先进城市的目标要求，校园建设将借鉴国内外大学校园建设的先进经验，充分体现香港中文大学的办学理念和建筑风格，突出学校特色，将校园建成精品工程和深圳市标志性建筑。
The Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Shenzhen campus (CUHK/SZ) is set up to become a world-class research institute that nurtures innovative talents. Its total number of students will ultimately reach 11000. Based on Shenzhen’s vision of becoming a modern and international city, the design of CUHK/SZ campus will learn from top educational institutes worldwide as well as reflect the educational philosophy and architectural style of CUHK. The constructed campus should show CUHK‘s unique characters, achieve high quality of construction and become a symbolic architecture for Shenzhen.
校园用地位于深圳市龙岗区大运中心西南侧、龙翔大道北侧，总用地面积约100公顷，其中建设用地面积约为50公顷，其余为由该校管理的公共绿地，总建筑面积约为45万平方米。校园分为两期建设，其中一期工程按在校生7000人规划建设，建筑面积约为30万平方米，总投资估算约为15亿元人民币，主要建设工程包括教室、实验室、图书馆、室内体育用房、行政及教师办公用房、会堂、食堂、学生宿舍、教职工宿舍、后勤及附属用房等。
Located to the west-south of Universiade Park in Long-gang District, north of Long Xiang Avenue, the campus of CUHK/SZ will have a total area of around 100 hectares, with around 50 hectares as buildable area. The rest is public green space that is under the management of CUHK/SZ. The total floor area is around 450,000 square meters. The construction of the campus is divided into two phases: the 1st phase will host 7000 students, with a total floor area of 300,000 square meters. The total construction estimate is around 1.5 billion RMB. Main functions include classroom, laboratory, library, gym, administration and academic offices, lecture hall, cafeteria, dormitory, housing for teachers and staffs, service and additional facilities.
香港中文大学（深圳）校园设计招标人为深圳市工务署，招标平台设在深圳市规划和国土资源委员会。本次招标内容为校园整体规划及一期工程建筑设计方案，计划在2012年2月下旬正式发布招标公告。
The contracting authority for this competition is Bureau of Public Works of Shenzhen Municipality, who will use the bidding platform of the Urban Planning, Land Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality. This competition is for the master planning of the entire campus and its 1st phase architectural design. The official announcement is to be released in late February, 2012.
本次招标诚邀全球优秀设计单位参与竞标，鼓励优秀建筑师（包括景观师）组成设计联合体积极参加。整个招标工作分为两个阶段进行，第一阶段采取公开报名、 资格评审的方式，招标人将组织专家团队对报名单位的公司资格、业绩、设计联合体构成情况、对本项目设计基本构思（必要，但深度不做限定）等进行评选，最终确定6家设计单位入围参加第二阶段的方案设计竞标（不接受6家入围单位以外的设计单位参加竞标）。
We sincerely invite design firms worldwide to participate in this competition. Design teams composed of several design firms (including landscape architects) are encouraged and welcomed. The competition contains two phases with the first phase being open enrollment and qualification review. The contracting authority will organize a jury of professionals to review the applicants’ qualification based on their performance, team composition, and a conceptual interpretation for CUHK/SZ campus design (with no specific requirements as how detailed the design should be). The jury will select six eligible design firms/teams to proceed to the second phase, which is the schematic design competition phase. (No other design firms are allowed to participate in the second phase except the selected six design firms/teams.)
本次预公告目的在于鼓励有意向的设计单位提前开展相关的竞标准备工作，本次校园规划招标的详细内容以正式的招标公告为准。
