RE-THINKING SHANGHAI 2012

[pagebreak] “The density and complexity of Shanghai coupled with the extreme pressures created by rapid growth make it a model city in which to explore sustainable ideas. Shanghai provides the perfect proving ground for visionary ideas that can combat the chronic global issues of pollution, density, and alternate energy production. We chose Shanghai because there is both a willingness and strong desire to push innovative green thinking, and more importantly to implement new ideas. We seek to push small shifts in logic today that transform urban development strategies.” Ted Givens, Design Partner of 10. Come and join us for an opening briefing by Ted Givens and educators from Tongji University & University of Hong Kong DESCRIPTION This design competition is open to all students, architectural professionals, and artists.
