| ABOUT NODE Location, Condition and Position 南沙原創建築工作室有限公司 南沙原創建築工作室（NODE）於2004年初正式成立，目前有來自大陸, 香港和美國的十人設計團隊。多年來，以南沙為國內根據地，以香港為國際視窗, 2009年底在深圳同時開設了工作室，在珠三角地區開展著多元化的建築創作和實踐活動，之前及當下已完成和正在實施全國各地的建築項目。 在中國急速膨脹的城市化進程中，NODE的建築創作正是在南沙新城這種地理位置的確定性和自然、社會構架的邊緣性和不確定性並存的矛盾狀態中開始的。一方面，與時共進，積極參與；另一方面，在周邊地區乃至全國建設的巨大規模、數量和速度的壓力下努力保持冷靜和批判的立場.堅持對建築基本問題的研究和發展，對地域和傳統建築文化的回歸和思考，在這過程中尋找一種自律和清晰，以保持在自身建築領域的前瞻性和實驗性；同時亦在建築理念和使用等上探索其自身邏輯以及對跨領域的開放性和相容性，以此作為創作的出發點和平臺進而關注城市化進程中引發的都市、景觀、市政、歷史和文化等複雜問題和現象。 近年來NODE和劉珩在香港中文大學建築學院的研究生設計課程研究開始關注於嶺南和亞熱帶地區,以及國外的地域建築傳統與發展-建構的研究和實踐,包括快速城市化語境下的地域文化和氣候條件對城市設計,建築形式,材料和建構的影響和形成過程研究.部分研究製作和成果參加了在鹿特丹建築雙年展,威尼斯藝術雙年展,韓國光州藝術雙年展,上海建築藝術雙年展,深圳香港雙城建築雙年展得以展示,特別是2007年深圳香港雙城建築雙年展, NODE以“熱帶困擾-涼茶城市”帶入對亞熱帶建築和城市的重新思考,獲得好評；之後也參與了成都置信集團多個以中華文化和傳統建築為專題的項目研究和設計, 積累了一定的實操經驗。目前設計研究團隊對地域傳統建築和城市文化形成的提煉和發展研究仍在繼續… NODE stands for Nansha Original DEsign (or NO DEsign) and was established in early 2004. It is an architectural practice based in Nansha, which grew out of a series of projects associated with the Fok Foundation of Hong Kong, and presently consists of 10 architects and designers. Doreen Heng LIU is its principal architect. NODE is a small and high quality design firm in the Pearl River Delta region in China, and expects to extend its practice geographically outward. Nansha is a uniquely situated at the land and water interface of Pearl River. It is a transit node between the east and west banks of the river； to the north is Guangzhou and to the south is Hong Kong. In contrast with rapid urban development in the rest of China, Nansha has taken a relatively slower approach toward urbanization. NODE argues for participation and inclusion of local interests as well as those from external sources and focuses on the basics of architecture in order to maintain a critical position under the pressure of tremendous speed, quantity and size. NODE’s work makes a departure from the essential issues of building – site, program, space, materials and construction– and ventures into complexities of urbanism, nature, landscape, tradition and culture. With such concerns, we consistently seek multi-discipline collaborations. Our work also covers a range of projects from small-scale furniture and lighting features to large-scale urban design and regional planning. We actively participate in academic forums, art exhibitions and installation designs locally and globally. NODE here is understood as the point in which different vectors – possibilities, tendencies, and events – intersect. It is neither a point of departure or of arrival. It is not a fixed entity. It is determined by ever-changing fluxes and dynamics. China is undergoing a great transitional period. The opportunities for architects are not only to design and build but also to contribute in the shaping of contemporary China. Chief Operating Officer(1) ·B. Arch or M. Arch. Degree, Bachelors/Masters in Urban Planning/Design or equivalent； ·7 years of relevant work experience, at least 3 years of operations manager experience in COO position； ·Responsible for overall management of daily operations； ·According to the company operating indicators, create an annual development plan, promote and ensure every operation and management objectives to complete smoothly； ·Establish a standardized, efficient Operations Management System and continually improve optimization； ·Improve the company’s operating standards and monitor implementation； ·Ability to work in a high pressure environment, leading team captains and designers, fostering team building； ·Design construction planning background and/or engagement in the design director position is preferred； ·Good project development and excellent business communication skills； ·Values the company vision, willing to grow with the company long-term； ·Language requirements: Proficiency in Mandarin； CET4 or above； ·Must posses a good work initiative, responsibility, good communication skills and the ability to work independently. Degree, or equivalent； ·Language requirements: Proficiency in Mandarin； CET4 or above； ·Able to complete the construction program and preliminary design independently, with 3 years relevant experience, familiar with the control of the whole process of project design； ·High level of conceptual design and a strong ability for organization and coordination of projects, experience with related building professionals； ·Good interaction and communication with clients； ·Familiar with the relevant standards of architecture and design specifications； ·Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup or 3Dmax, etc, both manual and digital drawing skills ·Must posses a good work initiative, responsibility, good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
